- Lish earned a BS in Physiology from Michigan State University and a MS in Molecular Biology from Eastern Michigan University. Since that time he has had a wide variety of jobs in his professional(mwaha) career spanning microbiology, pathology, animal surgery, developmental biology, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, cardiovascular biology, immunology, dermatology and molecular biology.
